About Flack Memorial Church
In short, we are a Bible-believing church devoted to worshiping and following the living God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Each Sunday we gather to open the Word of God together. Sunday School classes for children, teens, and adults invite every generation deeper into Scripture. Then, as one family, we lift our hearts in worship—through song, the reading of God’s Word, and the faithful exposition of Scripture—directing all our attention and praise to Him. Our music is intentionally simple and God-centered, designed to fix our eyes on the Lord and humble our hearts before His holiness.
On the first Sunday of each month, we close our morning worship by sharing the Sacrament of Holy Communion, remembering Christ’s body broken and blood shed for us. Afterward we linger around the table for a fellowship meal, rejoicing in the grace that binds us together.
Following the pattern of the early church, we are shepherded by a plurality of Elders—men called from within our body who meet the biblical qualifications set forth in 1 Timothy and Titus.
Mission Statement
Our Mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our community and the world. We will equip believers to live lives changed by Jesus. We believe that following Jesus should radically change our lives as we grow to live for His Kingdom more than our own. This means that following Jesus should affect how we love our spouse, how we raise our children, how we view the stewardship of our finances, time, and abilities, how we serve as employees at our jobs and citizens of our cities. No part of our life is left untouched by our discipleship to Christ. Jesus really does change lives and our desire is to be a church that practically shows how following Jesus should result in a complete redemptive overhaul of all our dreams, desires, priorities, and practices to the glory of God.
