Randy Mitchell - Lead Pastor

In August 1999 Randy was blessed with the privilege of returning to the church of his childhood to serve as Lead Pastor..  His family roots go all the way back to the church beginnings as his grandfather's grandfather (Dr. G.W. Mitchell) came to faith in Jesus Christ through the evangelistic ministry of Dr. Flack and later became one of his faithful ministry companions.  It was in the children's church ministry of Flack Memorial in the 1960's that Randy came to his own personal faith in Jesus Christ.  His contagious smile, humor and practical approach to the teaching of the Bible offers help in facing the real issues of life. 

Marion is the newest member of our pastoral staff.  Marion joined our staff in November 2007 after 30 years as pastor of our sister church in Liberty, Missouri.  Marion brings a wealth of biblical knowledge and the ability to help us understand how to apply biblical truth to our everyday lives in a way to transform us and help us influence the culture in which we live..  Besides being  President of our national conference of churches Marion is passionate about leadership development and equipping the church to do the work of ministry.

Mike and Abby Turner came to Flack Memorial in early 2000 and quickly embraced the vision of "Changing the World - One Heart at a Time," especially the hearts of children.  They have poured their lives into creating a children's ministry that offers age appropriate biblical instruction in an atmosphere children enjoy.  Mike and Abby have 4 children of their own.  Besides ministry at Flack Memorial and life at home, their lives are busy as they offer assistance to home schooling families in our community and Mike's duties as a professor at the Unversity of Missouri at Kansas City.
